I always had the subconscious desire to - one day - write a game that would rank up with my once-favorite, now-retro console games that I grew up with. You know, those who did a huge part in fueling my interest in the most diverse fields of everything around da comput0r
, but still kept me in touch with my fable for audiovisual art

They say mathematics are the language of the nature, but Polar Roses don't look particularly natural to me:

Even though I aimed to work on something completely different, I'm making progress on my GNU/C/SDL/2D particle system. It's been through a couple iterations, and I was switching some core parts from cartesian (X/Y) to polar ("aim and distance") coordinates just recently, but so far it can do all the necessities plus a couple cool things, too. Makes me proud enough to record crappy videos of it, so if you think you can stand me tweaking oddly labeled text entries for 13 minutes without sound, then go ahead and download. ;) |

In an attempt to keep the dust of what I've learned back in school, I once again started a couple electronics projects. Mainly microcontroller and LED based, tho. A 7-Segment-Display here, an ATtiny13-based 6-LED bargraph replacement for my harddisc LED there, and there are still a couple stepper motors I have lying around that would like to get my attention. And last but not least, there's the 12-LED binary clock that I want to build for a buddy of mine. |
